The UAE has a vibrant fan community. Whether you're into shonen action or slice-of-life, isekai or seinen, people here in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah are just as passionate about manga as anywhere else in the world. But the infrastructure hadn't caught up. Physical copies were expensive imports, delivery times were long, and many titles just weren't available at all.
We — alysworlds and the small team behind this — decided to do something about it. We sourced stock ourselves, built relationships with suppliers, and started curating a selection we genuinely loved and believed in.
PopBazaar isn't a warehouse operation. It's a hand-picked collection. Every single title on our shelves has been read, evaluated, or personally endorsed by us. If we wouldn't recommend it to a friend, it's not on the site.
What started as an experiment turned into something real. Orders came in from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and every corner of the UAE. Regulars came back. The community showed up. And we kept going — adding new stock daily, expanding categories, and working hard to keep prices fair.
